In-House Short-Run CD Duplication • Payment Terms

Colossal Mastering exists specifically to serve the mastering needs of the recording industry. By concentrating only on mastering, we are able to focus all of our efforts and resources on providing top-notch mastering services to our clientele. We have built an acoustically tuned mastering environment, our equipment was chosen for the sole purpose of mastering and our engineers excel particularly at mastering. As you would expect, Colossal offers a full array of mastering services, with the inclusion of outsourced duplication and graphics packages. We also serve our clients and their music aspirations by keeping on hand resource guides which provide general industry insight and contact information for other services in the recording industry. During your visit with us, we'd be happy to help you locate potential recording studios, duplication plants or resources for industry knowledge and networking.

Accepted Formats:

1/2" Analog 2-track @ 15 or 30 IPS, Masterlink CD24 discs, DAT, Compact Disc, 1/4" Analog 2-track @ 7.5, 15 or 30 IPS, Audio Cassette (we'll accept cassette if it's your only option), 33 1/3, 45, or 78 rpm vinyl. We also accept files in AIFF or .WAV in 16-, 20- and 24-bit resolution and 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz sample rates. The AudioCube is based on the NT 4.0 OS, so files must have ISO-9660 compatibility. Please ask if you are unsure about any compatibility issue. Note that some formats listed above may require additional scheduling considerations. Other formats? Just ask.

 

Rates:

Studio Time -- Dan Stout $130 per hour
DDP Duplication Master $55 each
CD Duplication Master $35 each
Reference CD $15 each
Archive Materials Fee $25
DAT $25 each
Audio Cassette $10 each

 

In-House Short-Run CD Duplication:
  • 1 - 300 quantity available.
  • 24-48 hour service available.
  • Ask about while-you-wait service at no extra charge.
  • Laser printed CD and jewel box labels included at no extra charge.
  • $1.00 discount per disc without labeling. (not applicable to 1-10 quantity)
  • Graphics packages can also be arranged. (Please call for pricing.)

 

Payment Terms:

  • Payment due at time of service.

  • Cancellation fee: $95 fee (one hour studio time) assessed if session cancelled with less than 24 hour notice
